H2O.K.® active charcoal water filter -
clean water everywhere
|
On journeys it is impossible to get same quality of drinking water as at home most times.
Even water of mountain creeks could be contaminated when it passed settlements or pastures.
Such water can lead to illnesses.
Not all travellers know the reason for "Montezuma's Revenge".
In most cases it's the water and not the food.

Adsorbtion: Enrichment of gaseous or in liquids loosened materials at the surface of a solid state by attraction of short range

You should not miss a water filter at least for journeys into other cultures.
It's not necessary to buy an expensive pumping filter with ceramical elements.
The H2O.K.® active charcoal water filter by Schultheiss (this company has nothing to do with the brewery!) is inexpensive, easy and problem-free in application.
Contaminated water is filled in above, occurs the filter and runs out from the lower opening as safe, clear, good-tasting water again.
The used charcoal is so porously that it indicates a surface of approx. 1000 square meter per gram, a structure, which would be recognizable with an electron microscope only!
The charcoal adsorbs thereby water-solved smell, taste and coloring materials, halogeated hydrocarbons and other organic pollutants.
|
There are silver ions in the charcoal to prevent germinating of it (silver ions kill germs in the water - remember what you've learned in school!)
The collapsible filter made from white hard PVC is (collapsed) 11 cm high only, fits thus in each backpack, guaranteed!
The charcoal filters up to 4,000 liters of water without exchange.
After short cleaning and easy to do replacement of charcoal the water filter can be reused.
|
The H2O.K.® active charcoal water filter is available by Albatros Outdoor for DEM 59.90 only.
